Dohn was born and raised in San Diego. His love of travel has taken him to live in various parts of the U.S. but San Diego is "home." His career history is primarily in retail management and office management. His continuing education includes Inventory Management as well as the latest in pharmaceuticals, and nutraceuticals. Dohn is responsible for purchasing all of the drugs and supplies necessary to keep this busy hospital running.

Dohn met Dr. Martin in the Spring of 2000 and fell in love with her compassion and her commitment to her patients and her craft. Dohn has worked for Dr. Martin since then and is one of the founding members of Cuyamaca Animal Hospital.

Dohn spends his free time with his fur-children. He also enjoys gardening, art, and the outdoors.
