Dr. Annette Behrman
Dr. Behrman grew up in Columbus, Indiana, where she spent many days on her grandparents’ farms. It was there that her great love of animals developed. After seeing a vet visit the animals on the farm when she was 5 years old, she decided she was going to be a vet.
Dr. Behrman received her B.A. degrees from Indiana University in Psychology and German. She earned her doctorate in veterinary medicine from Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine, where she tracked both large and small animals. Dr Behrman has been living in and practicing in San Diego since graduating in 2005.
Over the years her animal companions have included several cats, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, snakes, chickens, and fish. Aside from her passion for animals, Dr. Behrman enjoys art and playing electric guitar. She and her husband also enjoy skiing, scuba diving, hiking, camping, and traveling.
