Dr. Elizabeth Engall
Dr. Elizabeth Engall was born and raised in the beautiful Bay Area of Northern California. During college she developed a love of science and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of California, Davis. During the next three years she followed her curiosity in biology working at the Center for Neuroscience before embarking on her true passion of veterinary medicine.
While at the U.C. Davis School of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Engall helped found the International Veterinary Outreach (IVO) program, which was designed to provide free veterinary care to developing countries. You can learn more about this non-profit organization here. Dr. Engall earned her degree in Veterinary Medicine with an emphasis in small animal medicine from U.C. Davis in 2014. However, after veterinary school she could not resist the lure of San Diego and moved down to join the Cuyamaca Animal Hospital family. During her free time Dr. Engall enjoys rock climbing, walks along the beach, and spending time with her husband, James, and their Great Dane, Koda.
