We're excited to announce the newest addition to our team here at Cuyamaca Animal Hospital — Dr. Lauren Salcido!
Dr. Salcido brings with her a wealth of knowledge, experience, and a passion for patient care. She obtained her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Tufts University in Massachusetts, she also has a Bachelor in Biology and is Fear-Free certified. Doctor Salcido has been practicing veterinary medicine for over 12 years in northern Virginia, the San Francisco Bay area and San Diego.
At Cuyamaca Animal Hospital, we believe in providing comprehensive care for all our furry friends. Dr. Salcido enjoys all aspects of veterinary care, but especially surgery, internal medicine, dentistry, emergency/urgent care and preventative medicine, ensuring that every pet receives personalized attention and treatment.
Dr. Salcido is excited to become an integral part of the Santee community. She is looking forward to meeting all out wonderful clients and their pets, building strong relationships and contributing to the health and happiness of our community.
