Ron was born in San Diego and moved to Western Australia when he was 10 years old. There Ron attended boarding school and later university where he acquired his degree in Business Management with a minor in culinary arts.

After returning to San Diego in his early 20's Ron managed the Pathology department for a major north county human hospital. Seeking a career change Ron joined Dr Martin in the Fall of 2000. Ron is the Practice Manager for Cuyamaca Animal Hospital, as well as one of its founding members.

Ron enjoys spending his free time wine tasting, cooking, and cuddling with his Pugs.
